The MPCT (Marseille Provence Cruise Terminal) is on Môle Léon Gourret, in the commercial port north of the city centre. By road, the cruise terminal is reached through Gate 4 (Porte 4) of the port, on Chemin du Littoral, signposted from the A55 motorway; there is no metro or railway station at the terminal itself. From the terminal exit it is about 7 km (14 min) to the Old Port and city-centre hotels and about 20 km (19 min) to Marseille Provence Airport. Cruise lines sometimes run shuttle coaches to the Old Port on the ship's timetable; a private transfer leaves when you do, with your luggage already in the car.
